sam 1Samsung has just launched their first handset with a 12MP camera and full touch screen functionality, the Pixon12 (M8910) in the Indian market. The Pixon12 comes packed with a host of functions which enable consumers to easily capture, browse and share their images on the move.

The handset with feature –

The handset’s camera will also allow for video recording at a 720 x 480 pixel resolution at 30fps, it’s not Omnia HD but it’ll do. Other features will also include – a 28mm wide-angle lens, tracking Touch Auto Focus, Smart Auto mode for adjusting the light to ambiance, Face, Smile and Blink detection, WDR, beauty shot, quite a few scene modes and even image stabilization. That’s a long list.

And now for the clincher. This rather complete, well rounded handset is priced at just Rs. 29,990. Don’t that just beat all. But, yes, there’s a but, that price doesn’t include any substantial internal memory which means you’ll have to invest in a memory card, not that that’s an expensive investment these days, so it’s all good.
