ProCon Latte is a personal content filtering extension for the Firefox browser, designed to protect children from inappropriate Internet content. It enables you block access to websites that contain explicit keywords in the page content or the domain address, or limit Internet access to a Whitelist of approved sites. ProCon Latte includes a small list of explicit keywords that can be extended or edited to your preference. The program also includes a profanity filter that will automatically replace words that you consider unsuitable with a placeholder text. Other features include password protection, optional right-click integration, import/export of settings, and option to lock access to about:config, and more.

Nice plugin but I will not use it as my son is only 4 years old
Good plugin , blocking by content is really an added feature apart from the other adult -blocking addons.
Blocking by content is something which works great..
fx rocks……………..doesn’t it? so please blog more bout it coz it will eat up all the browsers,(leaving MS this applies to all-Go open source or go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
FireFox now adding many new features.. blocking the content seems to be interesting.. Looking for many plugins like this..

Very useful plugin. I got a very curious 10 year old who knows a lot about surfing because his friends are also the curious and adventurous types. Maybe I ought to install this too. Presently, my computer is password protected so there’s no way he can surf without me. He can only surf while I or my wife is around.
This plugin is quite useful for parents…but I do not have any use for this cos I am not married…Still a pretty useful share
this type of addons will prevent our children from veiwing the inapropriate site.

But, Sandesh i’m looking for something like i want to block few sites by URL in firefox. Is there anything i could do? I think in IE we have such an option. Is there an option if FF. I couldn’t figure out.
